What is software compatibility?

I have Zone Alarm and Mail Washer installed on a Windows XP home setup. When I log onto internet via Internet Explorer some pages do not show all the pictures. If I log on via Mozilla Firefox all the pictures are displayed.

Any ideas as to why?

You may need to either install a java applet or active x applet:

To update ActiveX add-ons

Open Internet Explorer

On the Tools menu, click Manage Add-ons

In the Show box, click the arrow and select Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer

In the list of add-ons, click the add-on you want to update, and then click Update ActiveX
