I replaced the computer fan on the inside and since then have not be able to use my computer. The monitor turns on. The cpu part appears to power up, but the green light doesn't come on and nothing loads on the screen. The monitor starts to just blink because nothing is loading.
I have checked the wires inside and don't see anything obvious. I also have removed and reinstalled the memory card.
I am scared to bring it into a repair shop because I have been ripped off in the past.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I have had this problem in the past with computer not wanting to start or video not showing a lot of times, I just take out the CMOS battery, remove the AGP video card and insert a PCI video card setting the motherboard setting to optimal save Remove PCI Video card insert the original AGP card Restart the computer usually restart working I really don’t know why this happens but it does.
Try removing the battery in side the pc motherboard that will clear the cmos and bios info replace it.
After 30 seconds and boot up Usually that work for me it has in the past.
If it does not work, try this.
Remove your AGP card
And try using a PCI video card to get into bios and clear the current configuration in it by select
Optimal setting for your bios the menu Then replace it with your AGP video card, and it should work again
I hope that help you good luck.
