Cannot uninstall Norton's

When I try to remove Norton get the error message: Log file C:\program fles\navnt\navnt.isu is not valid or the data has been corrupted. Uninstallation will not continue.

This question was answered on October 28, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


Try reinstalling Norton then uninstall it again.

To uninstall Norton

1 Open Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel

2 In the list of programs, click Norton, and then click Change/Remove

3 Click Uninstall Norton, and then click Continue

4 Click Yes to confirm that you want to start uninstalling Norton

5 Restart your computer

If this does not work, locate the Norton folder on your C: drive or wherever you install it then delete the folder.
