I just started having the same problem, haven't quite figured out yet what it is but figured out how to disable it on my computer.

Run msconfig by clicking Start>Run>(type msconfig, click enter.)

Tab over to Startup on mine I had something called "tgcmd" which led to http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/tgcmd/

Disable it by unchecking the box.

Restart and it should be gone.

Im still researching where this came from, and what it does, but I believe it is something bundled with my SBC/Yahoo Software.

also check to see if you sound my guest it related or sound card or voice modem also check for spyware check out http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

i hope it help Good Luck
