My double USB 1.0 is not working properly

Hello, i accidentally broke the front usb port which i used for my logitech webcam. I bought a double USB 1.0 powered port and plugged it into the motherboard. The cam is working but the picture has all horizontal lines across. Maybe there is a conflict somewhere? I tried the cam in the USB port which i used for my modem and the cam has the same poor picture.

The logitech cam says it is USB 2.0 compatible, maybe i have the wrong USB port?

Try getting an updated chipset drivers for your system by going to your computer manufacturer and get updated driver for your chipset or motherboard Sometimes that helps also check for something that giving out interference like a fan or monitor power supplies Also check and disconnect the USB port that you broke from the mother board and see if that makes a difference, maybe a wire is loose from of the case to the mother board it thias may be causing a problem.
