I recently moved. I placed my machine in the original box for the case, complete with styrofoam to prevent excessive movement.

Now, I cannot get my computer to work. When I open the case, I observe the following:

I get a green LED on the motherboard, so I assume I have power to the motherboard. I dont get any fan movement, either in the power supply of on the CPU. I replaced the power supply with another 450W ATX. I get the same indications.

My monitor (powered independently) gives a message of no signal.

please help

Remove the video card, and remove the motherboard CMOS/BIOS battery for about 30 seconds But first make sure that you disconnect the power from the back of the PC Then reinstall the battery and video card, usually that will reset the configuration for the mother and it should find the video card

If you get into your BIOS, setup for optimal use and the settings And that’s it, I really don’t know why this happen to some computer after been unplug for some time I hope this will work for you It works for me about a lot of times

I hope this help you out

Good luck
