Hi,

I'm using Windows XP Professional (just so you know). Over the past 3 months, two of my drives have been wiped off the system. When i have checked, searched and tried to reinstall them, the computer has told me that there is no E drive (being the cd rewriter) and D drive (DVD drive) connected, but when i've taken a closer look, the drives are connected. All traces of the drives are gone! Please help me.

Thanks for the great service

Hi, I think you should check the configuration for the drives One must be set to master and the other one to slave You can do this by changing the jumpers in the IDE devices I think that's why your PC doesnt recognize the drives.
