My computer will not start

My computer will not startup. My monitoris completely black with a small blue box that has different shapes on it. The Screen looks like the compute rhad not been shut down and had been on for awhile. But i moved my mouse to see if the blue screen would come up and start button. But it will not do anything.

I think this problem is related to setting the display resolution to high on your system have you try to enter safe mode if not then here is how you fix it.

F8 key: Using the F8 key can be more difficult than using the System Configuration Utility because you must press the F8 key at just the right time If the F8 method does not work, repeat the steps, but press the F8 key more quickly, or press it several times then you'll see some option select the one that read safe mode

After this, (if safe mode starts) go into your control panel and change the setting of your display it could be that it set to high for your monitor

Click on start select control pane then look for display then setting lower the resolution on the display.

If this those not work try to remove in safe mode the video card from system panel under hardware at least it will load some basic driver and then you can install the correct video drivers
