I recently started having trouble with my dsl (QWEST). The internet ight blinks on the Actiontec modem and it won't connect to the internet. Qwest sent me a new modem, same thing happens. I have found that if I power down the PC, wait a few minutes and power it back up, it works. Does this mean I need a new NIC card or is it a sftware trouble? I appreciate any help on this.

You should try uninstalling the software that belongs to the DSL and reinstall it If that doesn’t work check your NIC card it might need replacing I find that the best way to use a DSL modem is by USB port Works much better from home that NIC.
