I usually leave my computer on all the time, and have it go into stand by mode after an hour. Sometimes when I use it after it has been in stand by mode the programs I try to run open and run slowly. I checked the task manager and the CPU Usage is alwasy at 100%. The only way I can get it to return to normal is to restart my computer. (It normally runs around 5-10%) I've tried deleting spyware by deleting my temp. internet files and running norton anti virus and internet security. What else could be causing my computer to run at full capacity all the time?

What I would tell you to do is to scan for more hidden spyware I would suggest Spybot Search and Destroy That may be the reason that your CPU usage is all the way up Once you scan for the hidden spyware, check you computer again and it should be back to normal I hope that helps!
