Why won't my hard drive allow any other ISP dial UP?

my hard drive will not allow any other ISP dial up ,only AOL.I can load other ISP's however when I get to the dial-up step the drive fails to recognize the modom. is there any way other than e-machine tech support??

Ok,

You have to change the setting on AOL so it won’t be your default ISP And change the settings on the ISP you do want so that it is your default If changing the setting on AOL doesn’t work then you must uninstall it But make sure you have the other program installed
