There are 2 possible solutions for your problem The first solution would be to purchase more ram More ram would speed up your computer because in order for programs to load up, it needs to be loaded into memory first and the more ram you have, the more programs you can have open, and open faster Next even if you have gotten more ram or not, you should try disabling programs from starting up To do that you click start then click run Then type in “msconfig” without quotes It will open the system configuration utility window From there click on the startup tab You should be able to uncheck all of them, most of them you do not need starting up Also you should try scanning for spyware in your pc That too would slow down start time sometimes By doing those options, your pc should start up faster that it is now.
