How do I fix the macafee activesheild, It say's some of the activesheild is either missing or installed improperly
This question was answered on October 22, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
1 From Start > Settings > Control Panel
2 Double click on Add/Remove Programs
3 Select McAfee VirusScan.
4 A message confirming your removal of McAfee VirusScan will appear Click Yes.
5 Once the program is removed, you will be asked to restart your machine Click Yes.
6 After you log back in again, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs to make sure that McAfee VirusScan is no longer listed.
7 Then Reinstall the McAffee software, and the problem should be fixed.
