my computer keeps shutting down,..now i just loaded Windows XP Pro on to my machine and think that some .dll files didnt get load right,..ever time i try to get on line it freezes then shuts down , sasy that there is a problem with the memory dump. i try to down load all the fiel i thought i needed from dell,..not sure which ones i need,..but it shut down too soon to look. it never did this before i did the wipe amd reload. the reason for the wipe and reload is i have a virus that i could go back and restoer to a point where it wasnt in the system,...and i didnt have the correct software to remove it,..bad move but too late noe.

Ok, if your missing a DLL file the only way you can get the file back is by reinstalling the operating system or by putting your operating system disk in and choosing repair and it will install the file without you loosing any files

If the problem is a Memory dump file then you should reinstalling your operating system
