What does "No Input Signal" mean?

I tried playing Neverwinter Nights and my game randomly shuts off and my monitor comes up blank and displays a message "No Input Signal" What happened?

Try checking to see if your AGP card is snapped all the way down on the motherboard or the PCI It sounds like it might be a bad connection or bad card
