Why does my computer reboots or shuts itself down?

i have got a problem with my computer that i have never had before. While i was playing PC games on line,the computer was kind shut down itself, the whole screem went black,then something as ( OUT OF FREQUENCY) appeared on the top of the screem. blow it, there was a line said ( Power Magagement ), and it was counting as when it's gotta shut dwon. i really do need help,so plz answer to my question as soon as you can, thx !!!!

This indicates that you have a problem with the power supply or house current to the PC If what I'm about to tell you to try doesn't work you have to get a new power supply.

1 Check for too many devices using the same house circuit Remove a printer, Fax or other heavy equipment from the same circuit

2 Try exchanging the power supply for one that you know if good.

3 Try getting a serge protector if you don't have one.

4 When you power up the PC listen for the Fan if you don't hear that's where the problem is You must exchange it because, if you try to work the PC without the fan it will cause it to overheat and damage a chip.

Like I said before if none of the above seem to work, that means you need a new power supply
