I accidentally deleted a file needed for my computer to boot. What can I do to retrieve this file?

It seems like that i have deleted a file that helped start the computer.. and now as the file is missing my computer does not work and i have works on the computer that are really important.

I was wondering if you could advise me what to do to be able to get the information i want from my drive or basically how to get my computer started again? Thank You

1 Disk you create a recovery disk when you fist installed the OS? If so then you can use that to restore your PC to full working mode.

2 If you don’t have a boot disk or recovery disk You might be able to repair the problem from the OS installation CD.

3 Or if you know someone that is running the same OS that you are try and make a Rescue Disk on their PC and then run it on yours
