What does this error message mean?

I just installed a epson styllas color 1520 printer, when I to print I get an error message unable to start spool manger. I tried reinstalling the drivers, I also went to printer properties and tried the print test I still the same message. I need a possible solution?

This may be an issue with the spooler on your system Try installing the resident driver following the instructions below.

Windows '98

1 Click on "START", "SETTINGS", "PRINTERS".

2 Double click on the "ADD NEW PRINTER" icon.

3 Click "NEXT" until you reach the window that lists all printer manufacturers and models

4 Select "EPSON" under manufacturer and under models select the "EPSON STYLUS COLOR 1520" and click on "NEXT".

5 Select the desired port and click on "NEXT".

6 The next prompt will list the name of the printer and ask if you want to set this as the default printer Either select "NO" or "YES" and click on "NEXT".

7 The last prompt will ask "DO YOU WANT TO PRINT A TEST PAGE?", Click on "YES" and "FINISH".

8 Windows will now copy the necessary files to the hard drive and print the test page.

9 Depending on the system it may ask for your Windows disk, if so insert your Windows CD into your CD-ROM drive and click "OK"
