I just built a computer, and it powered up normally and everything seemed to work. I checked my CMOS settings and after a few adjustments, everything was fine. After saving and exiting, my computer would no longer power up. When I depress the power button, I hear a soft click coming from around the CPU, and the CPU fan sometimes tries to start spinning, but stops. No lights come on. I've tried unplugging and replugging every wire, cable, and connector inside and out, and at this point, I'm stumped. If you could provide any insight, I'd be most grateful.

Since you'd seemed to have checked all the obvious connections you may need to try another power supply.
