I get a blue Windows warning screen stating: "System memory is running very low. Norton Antivirus Auto-Protect may not be able to function properly". I am running a 256M PC2100 memory card. This warning occurs when I install an additional 512M card. The warning also occurs if I remove the 256M card and leave only the 512M card. Additionally a multitude of page faults occur when I try to access the internet. I am running Windows 98. Is there any reason 98 cannot support a 512M card? or maybe the 512M card is bad? Windows recognizes the appropriate amount of memory that I have installed. I have no problems whatsoever with the 256M card by itself. I believe I am reasonably knowledgeable in these matters but currently I am stumped on this.

1 memory modules should be combined with the same speed and model e.g kingston 256 with a kingston 256.

2 to seem to have two different speeds of memory; thus causing you the intermitten memory messages.

3 i would recommend using either the 256 or 512 stick, but you can't use both at the same time without having the problems that your currently having.

good luck
