i HAD TO REINSTALL WINDOWS ME BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS I WAS HAVING. NOW WHEN IT STARTS IT ALWAYS SAYS "CANT UPDATE FILE %1 TO %2" "HIT ANY KEY TO CONTINUE". ALSO I SEEM TO BE MISSING A FILE CALLED EBROWSER.DLL DOES THIS RESIDE WITHIN WINDOWS ME. FOR SOME REASON EXPLORER WOULD OPEN BUT IF I TYPE IN A WEB ADRESS NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN. I THOUGHT IT WAS DUE TO LACK OF MEMEORY. I WENT FROM 64K TO 256K.

Usually this means that you need to reinstall the driver or application, or remove the reference (if the respective device or application has been removed) Viruses can also cause this type of problem, and malfunctioning viruses can as well! Scan your system with updated anti-virus software
