IE6 is extremely slow, or sometimes stays blank for minutes on end and it won't open a link from an e-mail.

IE6 is extremely slow, in fact, it crawls, or sometimes stays blank for minutes on end and it wont open a link from an e-mail. I have checked all my security settings and they appear to be like they always were. Netscape 7.2 runs fairly smoothly.

Update your system files using Windows Update

Open Windows Update in Help and Support Center

On the Windows Update home page, click Scan for updates

Click Yes when prompted to install any required software or device drivers
