Did you try searching for this adaptor?

I have a DVD/CD-RW combo. I would like to know if there is an adapter that I can use to make it a DVD Writer?

I never heard of such a thing like an adaptor to make a DVD/CD-RW into a DVD/RW.

I did my research and I found nothing like that

The only way to write on DVD’s is to have a DVD R/W There’s no adaptor to make your DVD/CD-RW a DVD/RW

If you want to have a DVD/RW you have to buy a DVD-RW/CD-RW drive .
