Duplicate file removal sites

Have a lot of duplicate Quicken files. Also dup'd file when transferring to newer computer. Need software recomendation for duplicate file removal. There a lot of software out there.

Download a trial version

Install it Min requirements: Windows 9x or above on Pentium-class machine

Run NoClone

Select your path to scan by clicking Browse button or choose from path list e.g My documents

Click Add button

Click Search to start scanning for true duplicate files

After a while, true duplicate files are listed in duplicates tab along with zero-size files and same-name files

Click menu Result files, Smart marker to automatically select files for removal by date, size, version, file name pattern and folder

Review your marked files by openning it or preview pictures in the picture box, add or change any marks you made

Click menu Result files, Delete marked files, Move marked files or Copy marked files

Confirm your operations
