I have a 2270 IBM computer, with 2 64MB Dimm memorary cards, can I increase the memorary to 256MB, without any problems coming up? Purchased in 2000. IBM no longer supports this model. My computer has slowed down, because I've added Adware, Spyware and Roboform. Leaves me with about 60% performance, when I visit the internet. Is Dimm memorary available? I am not very computer literate. I read your column every Monday in the Valley Tribune and cut out and save items that will help me. I have 6GB unused on my harddrive Appreciate any help you can provide. Art

Yes you can, you should have no Problem at all upgrading your memory to 256MB I'm not sure but I think you might need two 128MB cards, unless you can find a 256MB compatible Memory card.

Hope this is of some use Good Luck
