How do I stop Windows XP from putting icons on my start menu every time I open them. It keeps adding icons to the bottom of my start menu every time I open a program and then tells me that my start menu is too full.

Click on the start menu and on the blue part under all programs right click and click on properties In the task bar and start menu properties click on customize In customize start menu, you can limit the amount of programs you want on your start menu (You may have a high number in there now) you can put any amount you want but if you put too much it will tell you that there is not enough room for them So I suggest you put a number like (4) that should be enough room for your start menu
