Lately I have been having a lot of problems getting IE5 to open on my computer. Now after connecting to my ISP I click on my IE icon and nothing happens. I tried to uninstall 5 and intall 6, but I get a message that says a previous installation was not completed restart and try again. I have done this 5 times and get the same message. Is there any way to uninstall IE5 and install 6? I know I have some type of spyware issue because I had the same problem 2 weeks ago cleared a toolbar program and it started working again. I tried uninstalling a couple other toolbar programs yesterday and now I have the same problem. Will running ad-aware help? Please let me know because I need to have my internet access restored.

In order to uninstall all the files that internet explorer 5 provided along with it, start by going to my computer Your next step is to go to control panel followed by add/remove programs and remove internet explorer This will give it a full uninstall and you may then restart your computer and download a newer version

Hope this was helpful
