Hard drive reads and reads.

My hard drive seems to read and read and read, for a long period of time after I am booted up, and again after some operations. Is something amiss? I does not seem normal, and often slows down operations.

Run a virus scan and see if that helps If not, then there must be a program that you must have recently installed that must be causing your pc to do that.. You need to uninstall that program and see what happens.
