Why your screen went blank

I was working on my computer when it went blank. It comes on but whe it loading windows XP Nothing happens other than I lose my keyboard. I received a message that due to a power failure or if I had hit the reset button which I did both to try and rebott but just before it downloads the keyboard goes off

Do you know the output wattage of your Power Supply Unit Looking at your spec, the size of the processor points to be a few years old and the pwoer supply may just not be up to the job any more Who manufactured the machine? With these few extra details, someone here will probably be able to tell you which type of replacement PSU to buy to be sure the wiring is configured the same.
