My hard disk is not getting detected in my computer. what could be the best solution?????

The first thing you might want to do is check the cables Make sure they are connected correctly Also make sure the Hard disk is connected on the primary cable as the master The correct way to set the jumper switches is usually written somewhere on the case of the disk If it is not, look for engraved abbreviations such as MA and SL etc above or below sets of pins Make sure and check that your settings are correct in CMOS Setup.
