How to replace a harddive on a laptop

I have a Toshiba satellite 3 yr old lap top, it is a 1805-S274, it runs (home) XP, I have a hard drive (20g)that I want to replace. I have taken out the hard drive, it is on platform or cassette system, where it slides in and out of the laptop computer. It is held in place by 8 screws. Each corner has 2 screws, one placement horizontal and 2nd placement screw is in a vertical position. I have forgotten the placement of the screws and wondered about these as being adjustment screws and how should they be tighted or adjusted for the hard drive before starting the system back up???

A 2.5" laptop hard drive has 4 positions for the screws which can be fixed either from the bottom or from the two longitundinal sides It looks like yours have them both fixed There should be no adjustment needed The disk is finger push fit and retained in position by usually just one screw.

No special tightening requirements, just make sure you don't put too long a screw in the wrong place, some disk drives will be damaged if you do that...
