How to get them to install

I have windows Me and just got p-cillin antivirus/firewall protection. It says I need several critical updates and when I download them I get a screen that says {A previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot You need to restart you computer } when I restart I can find the downloads but I dont know how to get them to install

Try turning off your virus protection when downloading updates If that doesn't work

try downloading directly from Microsoft.com
