Hi there,

I set up a home network with four computers a year or so ago, and everything had been running smoothly. I have a Linksys wireless router. Three of the computers are hard wired to thge router. I occasionally use a laptap and go wireless.

I'm not sure if it is just coincidence, but I used my laptop at a hotel in nYC and accessed their wireless network. All worked fine. Upon returning home I encountered two problems:

(1) I can not access my own wireless network

(2) One of my desktops is no longer recognized by the network

I am more concerned with problem number (2), as I like to accesss files on that computer from different workstations, and I also like to print from there. I cant not access the printer or files on that computer.

Any ideas?

Is the desktop still connected to the network? run ipconfig /all to see if it has an ip address If it does, it should be a config issue in windows If not, we have to find out why its not connecting to the network You should try to release and renew your ip, assuming you're assigning addresses from a dhcp server (router).

If you haven't already, reset your router(power down then back up), then restart computer2
