My computer's gotten kinda slow loading everything when my desktop appears. Anyone know of a better way to find out what's loading with windows than that useless startup folder? (some kinda ini file or something perhaps?)

Go to Start/Run Type msconfig

ok

Startup tab

You can uncheck anything you like. The only things I allow to start on boot on my machine are antivirus and firewall or you can go into the registry editor and in the local machine goto software, microsoft, windows, and see what's in the Run or runonce folders.
