I tried to download the Windows Service Pack 2 from the Windows Update website, but when I get to the site, it says, "Checking for the latest version of the Windows Update software", and it doesn't progress any further. On the bottome left is says "done" but instead of the IE icon, there is an exclamation point on a top of a yellow triangle. Is there anything I can do to fix IE so that I can download the update?

Service pack 1 must be installed on your PC inorder to install Service pack 2 Also your computer must be at SR-1/SR-1a level to complete installation To download this visit www.microsoft.com/downloads/details click download You will be prompted with the choice to open or to save

O2Ksr1a Open itand it begins to download If this dosen't work one of the files from the pervious version maybe corrupted, try a reinstallation of SP-1.
