Page cannot be displayed response

When I try to log into my ebay account I get the "page cannot be displayed response" I can browse ebay and any other site on the net exept for signing in. Do you have any idea what might be the problem and how can I fix it. I have explorer 6.0.

Your TCP/IP, the Communications package, or the Winsock2 registry keys have become damaged or corrupt Uninstall TCP/IP and the Communications package, remove the Winsock2 keys in the registry, and reinstall TCP/IP and the Communications.
