How can I change the color of the icon letters?

can you change the color of the lettering that describes the icon on your desktop Example The icon "my computer" has white letters and I want to change them to black All my icon letters are white and my desktop background is lite in color so it's hard to read

This question was answered on November 30, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.


Right click on your desktop Click on "PROPERTIES", then click on the "APPEARANCE" tab, and on the lower right side click on "ADVANCED" There you can choose from many different settings that change the colors.
