How to stop the message "Invalid parameter"?

When starting up my computer, a message that says "Invaliad parameter" and something about the wrong server. It wont let me on and when I press "OK" it restarts the computer and the message comes up again. What is wrong with the parameter?

Have you tried System Restore? Just a thought And is the copy of XP legit? I've know a couple of people that are using a hacked copy, and they started having problems shortly after they installed SP1.
