How stop my computer from freezing?

okay im playin yahoo pool and i click on profile and it freezes for a sec and it doesnt show up and say someone sends me a link when im chatting to them i click the link and it freezes and doesnt show up and other problems like i run adaware and it deletes alot of stuff but after its done deleting it says it cant get rid of like ALOT of stuff :( so i think thats the problem please reply really soon its making me really mad

Reasons I have found computer freezeups very persistent are when the CPU or Motherboard are above the normal temperature or your system registry is over sized.

For the first go into the BIOS and check if your CPU temp is above 60degrees Centigrade & if it then you have to install a better Cooler with a faster fan.

second defrag your HDD, optimize your registry using Norton Utilities and set your page file to the optimal sizae preferable on a less used partition.

If it still doesn't solve the problem the check out from where the noise emanates & let me know.
