Why do i keep getting the error message that there is an invalid page error in the MSVCRT.DLL file.

I have a Yahoo acct. and each time I try and access "my mail" I get the error message that there is an invalid page error in the MSVCRT.DLL file, and explorer will close the program. This is the ONLY site that this error appears. How can I fix this file?

1 When did this problem begin?

The reason for my question is because there is one issue involving the MSVCRT.dll error message, which can be caused when certain Microsoft programs are installed (Microsoft Works Suite 99, Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia 99 (US only), Microsoft Encarta Virtual Globe 99, Microsoft Graphics Studio Greetings 99 and maybe some others).

In such cases the file is overwritten by another file of a different version, which can cause the problem

Got to the Microsoft web site and click on the following article Q221946 it has instructions on downloading and applying the fix If you in fact were trying to install one of the above named programs If it doesn’t work come back and let us know what was the last thing you did before this problem began.
