Hey Guys,

I was at a LAN and installed HL2, ever since then my comp has been restarting basically when ever it feels like it. It seams like its doing it when my comp is under a load. I set my startup so nothing starts up except AIM. I ran symantec antivirus, and spybot, everything seams good there. Any words of wisdom?

The most common reasons for restarting:

Weak power supply (especially under load.

Software conflict (driver problem)

If you try and reduce the load, perhaps by unplugging a couple of things, removing add-on cards, then see if this reduces or eliminates the restarting.

This will obviously point towards the PSU being at fault.

Try a restore point before the LAN party? If it is a driver/software issue taking it back she eliminate the problem.
