I have an Alcatel Speed touch Modem, connected to the CPU via a USB cable. There is no provision on the modem for an ethernet cable. My question is, can I get an aftermarket router to connect to the modem with the USB connector, or do I have to get my ISP provider to supply me with an ethernet connector modem?
