i have a computer that was infested with viruses.

i cleaned it on another computer, and scandisk.

now whenever i logon (which it wasnt able to before)- it logs me off instantly, directly after logging on.

ive heard of this problem before- the best solution i heard was to format, and reinstall.

is there anyone who knows a better solution??

thanks a lot in advance.

To avoid losing data, boot with an xp disk, all the way to the page where the c: drive is listed do an 'r' repair there.
