Do things seem to small or large on your screen? Here's a quick solution.

There’s nothing worse than having to scroll every which way to view a website or word document Ok, maybe there are worse things, but it’s certainly a pain Your screen resolution is directly responsible for how much can be viewed through your monitor at any given time.

By increasing the resolution it has the effect of zooming out; thus allowing you to view more information at once and making items appear smaller Decreasing the resolution – as you can imagine – has the opposite effect

Follow the steps below:

1 Right-click on a vacant portion of your desktop A gray drop-down menu will appear; choose Properties.

2 A window will appear; click the Settings tab.

3 Here you will find a slider bar labeled Screen Resolution (or Screen Area depending on your version of Windows).

4 Slide the bar to the left to decrease the resolution and make things larger Slide the bar to the right to… you get the idea.

5 After you’ve decided on a resolution, click Apply to test the new settings If you’re satisfied with the new resolution click OK.

Please note that the resolution displayed in the graphic above may not suit your needs Experiment a little to find what’s best for you Good luck and enjoy!
