Does anyone know if a flat screen monitor will perform as well as a CRT when you play some of the newer computer games? I have heard that there are some performance issues with flat screens. Thanks in advance.

I assume you are referring to LCD displays What you need to look for with LCD displays is a fast response time Normal response time is 25ns or so, fast is 12ns This isn't the only spec that matters but it is the one that is your main concern Dead pixel warranty policy is an important issue Some vendors only warranty a display if more than 8 dead pixels That may not be acceptable to you Normally I wouldn't recommend Best buy, but they have a pretty good warranty you can buy for LCD displays Look at the Samsung 712N display
