Task Bar Separators

The separator bars between the quick launch icons and the minimized Windows, when placed so that all the quick launch icons show, always, on re-boot, reverts back to indicate several hidden QLIs. This was not the case before format/install. Which setting controls this action?

Try right clicking the taskbar, properties, advanced, scroll down and uncheck 'enable moving and resizing.
