I resently have been having a problem with my computer freezing. At first I thought it was a virus that my virus software had missed, so I formatted my harddrive and reinstalled windows XP but my computer froze during installing that. I tried a different hard drive, video card, and RAM, but my computer still freezes. I also tried removing my sound card and ethernet card. I have had this computer for 4 years and it just started doing this now. I have tried everything short of buying a new CPU or Motherboard. I am running out of patients and money trying to fix this computer. I was just wandering what you thought it might be. Is it my CPU or Motherboard or even possibly my power supply?

You may need more Memory RAM or your PC might be full or has a virus

you said that you already checked for a virus but the computer doesn't have a virus maybe you have too many things on the computer. maybe you need some more memory
