usb 2.0 or 1.0?

What is the difference and how can I tell what is in my computer?

USB 2.0 is about ten times faster If you go to device manager and look at the USB host controller, if it is USB 2.0 it should say so.

You are unlikely to have native USB 2.0 support on your PC since Windows ME does not support it It is usually installed by putting in a separate PCI card for that purpose.

to see what you have do this

Open Device Manager then USB Contollers.

IF you have an entry which reads

.....PCI to USB ENHANCED Host Contoller

then you have USB 2
