Why I cant send myself a email?

Why can't I send e-mail to myself??

Open Outlook Express, click the Tools menu and select Accounts

NOTE: Were using Outlook Express in this example, if you're using a different program the steps involved may differ

Click the Mail tab, select your SEOL mail account from the list, then click the Properties button to display the settings for this account.

Click the Servers tab to display the settings we will examine In the image below, the key fields are emphasised with the red border

Incoming mail (POP3)

This field should contain an address that will resolve to the SEOL Mail Server An anti-virus program will change this to 127.0.0.1 This field should be set to mail.seol.net.au.

Account name (Username)

This field should contain your SEOL username (not your email address) An anti-virus program will change this field to contain your username followed by a slash and then the Incoming Mail (POP3) address This field should be set to your Username.

Click Ok to save the changes, then click Close to close the accounts dialog
