Do you computer shows windows protection?

every time my computer boots up i get windows file protection checking files i then have to insert windows cd. it makes no difference if i cancel it or let it copy files from the disc.

My anti virus is up to date adaware is up to date & cw shredder. this happens every time i start the computer.

Please try using setup/system defaults and see if it still happening

If the video is allowed to write cache memory to the hard drive, and windows or some other program writes to the same area it causes the kind of problem you have, the best thing to try in this before changing any windows settings is on startup enter your bios screen, load the systems default settings and see if the error still happens it may not be video, it maybe some other cache/write setting, but usually this fixes the error.
